Campside Cardi

Without shame, without apology, this yarn took up residence in my stash well before I conceived of a project for it. While I’ve grown meticulously systematic in planning my knitting projects, with impulsive buys kept to a minimum, do you blame me for this one slip-up? I mean, look at it.

The yarn is Marquess MCN DK from Primrose Yarn Co., which you may recognize as the same yarn I used for my Portage Cardigan. This summery sunset of a colorway is called “Kiss Me,” and it is divine.

It was the Campside Cardigan pattern by Alicia Plummer that I found most worthy of this scrumptious yarn. With summer right around the corner, a light and airy eyelet-filled cardigan suited my mood perfectly.

The cardigan is knit top down with raglan increases and incorporates eyelets that become gradually closer together as you reach the hem. It is a brilliantly simple and fulfilling design that knits up quickly and fits splendidly.

I am eager to cast on a second one soon (for my mom)!

The Campside Cardigan pattern can be purchased from Alicia Plummer’s Ravelry store here.

It’s beautiful and you look lovely in it! I have a couple of hanks of Marquess in my stash and yes it’s so divine! Must be awesome for a soft and cosy cardi 💖

    1. Thanks, Isabelle. Marquess is the softest!

  2. It’s amazing. I love that you generally knit in colors I would never choose and yet I find your end results so beautiful.

    1. Thanks! I often surprise myself with my color choices as well.
