Cable Stitches

knitosophydesigns May 6, 2023

I find cable needles to be clumsy and slow. Fortunately, they are almost entirely unnecessary!

3/2 LC (3/2 Left Cross)

The video below demonstrates how to work 3/2 LC on both the Right Side and Wrong Side of my Beautyberry pattern. On the Right Side, the cable is worked without a cable needle. On the Wrong Side, the cable is reversed to be 2/3 LC purled and requires a cable needle.

1/2 RC (Right Cross) and 1/2 LC (Left Cross)

Below is a video demonstrating how to work the 3-stitch cables found in my Forsythia pattern, all without a cable needle.
